Here is an overview of what is available on our website:
Visit About Us to learn about the Prichard Committee's history, members, and staff and read a quick fact sheet.
Our Publications include Changes in Our Schools, a regular column by executive director Bob Sexton; Kentucky School Updates, a guide for parents and citizens; and Perspectives, our newsletter. You will also find other reports, guidebooks and materials that we have published related to improving education in Kentucky. To see what others are reading, view a list of the most popular documents
The Media Room includes our press releases and links to our most recent newspaper column and newsletter.
Resources has links to education-related publications (both our own and others') and articles, divided by category. Check our Kentucky Education Data page for links to the most recent school data including test scores, drop out rates, teacher certification information and more. We also have a page of Links to web sites of interest.
The Parents and Teachers Talking Together page describes a useful tool: a small, structured conversation where parents and teachers can exchange ideas for improving education in their school.
The Community Accountability Team (CAT) is a group of concerned citizens that looks at the achievement of students in Jefferson County's middle schools.
We maintain a separate website, www.cipl.org, for our Commonwealth Institute for Parent Leadership (CIPL). The Institute provides skills, information and support for parents as they work with teachers and other parents to raise student achievement in their schools.
The mission of Parent Leadership Associates, www.plassociates.org, is to improve student achievement by teaching education leaders and communities how to effectively inform and involve parents.
